  9. Napster is an MP3 sharing community using a special client that features
  10. things like chatting, searching, downloading, notify lists, etc. If you
  11. want to read more about Napster in general, go to http://www.napster.com.
  12. Here you can also download the official Windows version of the client.

  14. Amster is an Open Source MUI based almost full-featured Napster client
  15. for AmigaOS. Current features include:

  17. - Multithreaded downloads with priority and queue settings.
  18. - File sharing (upload) with drag'n'drop support and more.
  19. - Private messaging and multichatting (with channel list window).
  20. - Advanced search with column list sorting.
  21. - External MP3 player spawning; play the music while you download it!
  22. - Navigator to connect to favourite servers (choose from list).
  23. - Hotlist with online/offline notification and browse facility.
  24. - Separate window for each task, and optional icon panel.
  25. - ARexx port for scripting.
  26. - Locale support - the world's first Napster client in 17 languages.
  27. - Help bubbles and AmigaGuide® chapter lookup.
